Library Card Information

A library card is issued free upon proper registration to people living in, working in and/or going to school in Franklin County.  Children must be five years old to have their own card.  They must have a parent's, grandparent's, or guardian's signature until they are fourteen years old.

Non-residents of the county not in the above categories will be required to leave a $10 deposit, which is refundable, when all books are returned.

All registrants must provide reference information.  The reference must live in the county, but not at the same address as the person applying for the card.

The cost of replacement of a lost library card is $2.00
